WAUREGAN, CT. January 15, 2008...C&M Corporation, a manufacturer of high-performance cables and assemblies, was recently chosen by a major military supplier as a partner in the development and production of a unique seaworthy coil cord for the United States Navy.

The principal design requirements for the coil cord included the capability to transmit power and sophisticated electronic signals within the same cable construction and able to withstand the difficult at-sea environments. The coil cord is designed to remain viable after being submerged at significant depths for extended periods of time.

C&M was selected for this project, based upon our significant materials background and expertise in ruggedized, harsh environment coil cord fabrication.
