WAUREGAN, CT. August 1, 2007…C&M Corporation lost Bob Blake, a most valuable sales/engineering employee and friend on January 11th, 2005. Bob was instrumental, along with Neal Allen and Ralph Roark, on the development and construction of a continuous flexing C-track machine to test the flexing life cycles of cables. The machine is invaluable to engineers to analyze cable design. A cable Bob Blake placed on this machine back in 2001, is still there and going strong after 43 million flex cycles, paying a tribute to him. The current industry expectations are for 10 million flexes. A cable engineered to withstand so much more flexing abuse is invaluable to the C-track, robotic and assembly line industries.
