The Duralon™ jacket is formulated to withstand sunlight and most oils, chemicals, acids, and fuels found within factory environments.

Duralon™ jackets are conducive to semi-automated and fully-automated assembly and manufacturing environments. Duralon™ jackets may be utilized in industrial markets such as plating operations, chemical plants, machine shops and refineries as oil-resistant control and signal cables, tray cables and power-limited tray cables.

Duralon™ is a proprietary formulation of a thermoplastic elastomer alloy with a matte finish that looks and feels like rubber and is flexible enough for high flex, C-track, rolling flex, and bend flex applications for tens of millions of cycles. Additionally, Duralon™ jacket material can be used in temperatures ranging from -24°C to +105°C and is flame retardant.

Cables constructed with a Duralon™ jacket meet the performance standards for tray cable per UL 1277, Power Limited Tray Cable (PLTC) per UL 13 and Appliance Wiring Material (AWM).
