Additionally, C&M provides their customers with the actual test report data on the products they have purchased. Below is an overview of some of the equipment C&M utilizes to assure the very best in quality and performance:
Mechanical testing
An in house custom designed C-Track flex machine, with a 20 foot controlled travel to simulate cable flex life testing.
A custom designed "tic-toc" tester with a travel of +/-90 degrees – to simulate flex life in a real world flex assembly application.
Custom designed and built extension-retraction machine that extends and retracts in a controlled motion – to simulate an application test of a coil cord.
Custom designed and built torsional tester to simulate the torsion of torque on a cable in an installed environment.
Physical testing
1 Blue M environmental chamber – for hot and cold limit testing
1 UL Certified Vertical Flame Test Chamber – for UL 1685, CL2; CSA FT4 and IEEE certifications
1 Dinex 150 X-ray machine – for non-destructive analysis of various assembly constructions.
1 Tinius Olsen unit – to perform tensile, elongation, and adhesion properties
2 Color-matching spectrophotometers – to color match cable jacket materials and assembly molded materials to a customer's requirements.

1 Tektronix CSA 8200 digital oscilloscope – for eye pattern measurement up to 3GHz; time domain impedance; time domain crosstalk; time delay skew; and velocity of propagation
1 Agilent E5071B 4 port 8.5 GHZ network analyzer – for frequency domain impedance; frequency domain crosstalk; velocity of propagation; frequency delay skew; structural return loss; and attenuation (insertion loss method up to 8.5 GHz)
2 HP 8133A 3GHz pulse generator – for eye pattern measurement up to 3GHz
